CLOSING CEREMONY & VOCAL CHOIR TECHNIK STU PERFORMANCE

At the closing ceremony, there will be a unique opportunity to listen to the Technik vocal choir, which will present the repertoire of Slovak and foreign composers in an acapella performance.

The Choir Technik STU was established in 1956 at the Slovak University of Technology (STU) in Bratislava. Currently, the choir is led by conductor, Petra Torkošová. Since its establishment and over its years of existence, Technik has been studying and interpreting many masterpieces of both Slovak and foreign composers, and several concerts have been organized in cooperation with the Slovak Philharmonic.
The choir also has a tutorial library in English with compositions of Slovak composers, which are part of the choir repertoire and might be the most challenging for non-Slovak speakers.
